Our History

Antonio Cioffi, moved to Vancouver from his beloved, Avellino, Italy in 1968 to seek his fortunes and live an adventure. He brought with him, the shirt on his back, an old fashioned work ethic based on always delivering the best and a passion for great Italian food.

Antonio,and his son Rino opened Cioffi’s Meat Market & Deli in 1990 during the tail end of a recession. Everybody who celebrates needs something to eat and Cioffi’s offered the best in Italian specialty cold-cuts, cheeses, and fresh butchered meats to help people celebrate.

Rino and his younger brother Sergio have expanded Cioffi’s over the last decade to include wholesale, catering, & take-out. Most recently they are celebrating life with the addition of the Cucina.

Cioffi’s Cucina brings together all the quality ingredients found in Cioffi’s Deli & Meat Market to create traditional Italian meals with a modern twist. The focus is on fresh, local, natural, & handmade foods using only the best products you can find anywhere.
